Called to Shine Concert

What is
Called to Shine?
Called to Shine is a music/dance event initiated, organized,
and hosted by
the First Filipino American United Methodist Church's
Young Adults
& Youth Fellowship (YAY). This
collaborative event features talent from various churches
and individuals -- including the First
Filipino American United Methodist Church,
Bellaire United Methodist Church,
Philippine-American Good News Fellowship, Umphress United
Methodist Church -- who have volunteered their time
and talent to a support a common cause.
What is the goal of Called to Shine?
Called to Shine was created around 4 integrated goals:
1) To praise God.
2) To establish a fellowship and unity through music and dance.
3) To raise awareness of underprivileged families in developing countries, specifically the Philippines.
4) To entertain and showcase the talents of today's youth.
What can YOU do?
Join us at the Called to Shine Concert 2010 or donate! Through
everyone's donations and contributions, we hope to provide
substantial financial and spiritual support to
Asuncion A. Perez Memorial Center, Inc. (AAPMCI) located in Manila,
Philippines. AAPMCI is a mission
group focused in the Philippines which sustains 3 major programs: a
Disaster Response program; a Comprehensive Health Project; and a
Ministry which supports Women, Youth, and Children.
In addition to AAPMCI, this event will aid the YAY Ministry and
the FFAUMC Sanctuary Building Fund.
